Answer:

No, the way specifications are written for watches is a bit misleading for a regular person but the basic rule of thumb is unless the watch is labeled "diver's watch" it is not made for swimming. Water resistant watch just means the watch will survive rain or being submerged briefly in shallow water. We do not recommend swimming nor even taking a shower with any diamond watch or any watch that was only marked as water resistant as these watches were not designed for such activities.
